Rapport de la deuxième réunion du 28 juin 2018

La deuxième réunion du Groupe de travail (GT) " Prévenir la corruption en impliquant la société civile " a eu lieu le jeudi 28 2018 et onze participants représentant dix ONG étaient présents.

L'ordre du jour de la réunion a compris les points suivants :

1. Questions administratives

2. Choisir un objectif pour obtenir des résultats précis et efficaces.

3. Redéfinir les résultats attendus en fonction de l'objectif choisi.

4. Présentation du groupe de travail du Centre pour le développement, la démocratie et la gouvernance (CDDG) sur l'éthique publique par Jutta Gützkov, chef de la Division de la Bonne Gouvernance. https://www.coe.int/fr/web/good-governance/cddg

5. Établir un plan d'action, y compris les activités à entreprendre jusqu'à la prochaine réunion.

2. Choisir un objectif pour obtenir des résultats précis et efficaces.

Les participants ont décidé de se concentrer sur un seul des trois objectifs identifiés lors de la première réunion du GT en janvier dernier, afin d'obtenir des résultats spécifiques et efficaces.

L'objectif choisi était : "Éduquer les citoyens pour prévenir la corruption".

The second meeting of the Working Group (WG) “Preventing Corruption by Engaging the Civil Society” was held on Thursday 28, 2018 and eleven participants representing ten NGOs were present.

The agenda of the meeting included the following items:

Administrative issues

Choose one objective to have specific, effective results.

Redefine expected results according to the set-up objective.

Set up an Action Plan, including activities to be undertaken until next meeting

1. Administrative issues:  New coordinator

2. Choose one objective to have specific, effective results.

Participants decided to focus only on one of the three objectives identified during the first meeting of the WG last January, in order to have specific, effective results.

The chosen objective was: “To educate citizens to prevent corruption”.

My apologies for the delay in publishing this joint EN-RE WAC-I declaration revised for publication on 19th March 2018 at the Rome Conference

Since many member groups of EN-RE also belong to WAC-I (We are Church International) it was decided to hold the 2018 meeting in a shorter format at the same location and date as the WAC-I bi-annual meeting in Rome to reduce costs.

EN-RE’s annual meeting for 2019 will be held separately in Eastern Europe and is planned to last the normal length and include a study day with local participants.

We publish an English translation of this study by Enric Vilà i Lanao in view of our engagement agreed in the joint meeting of EN-RE with WAC-I (We are Church International) in Rome on 16th March 2018.
